Our full-service consignment program is unmatched. We handle the pictures, write-ups, and sale, and will be happy to answer any questions you have along the way. We will work with you on an individual basis to ensure that everything is priced as you want it.

How it works
Contact us via phone or email with information about the watches that you want to sell. If your knives would be a good fit for our site, we'll have you ship them to us to get things started. Please note that we do not accept watches with an estimated market value of less than $500. We handle all the pictures and write - ups, and will work out pricing with you once we receive your watches. Once a watch is sold, you will receive 90% of the final sale price of the watch.

Shipping Your Watches

- Include any information you have for each watch sent, including brand, model, case material, etc.
- Review the Packing Your Watches page.
- Please be very careful when sending things in fragile cases, they usually show up broken.
You can use whatever shipping method you prefer to send your watches to us, but we recommend insuring your shipment. We are not responsible for shipping or insurance costs when receiving or returning consignment watches. Our insurance coverage begins when we receive your shipment. We recommend that you insure your consignment from the time it is placed in transit to the time we accept delivery.

Watches should be clean, running, and in salable condition. Repair and/or cleaning fees will be charged if we need to work on a watch to make it presentable and will delay placement on the site.
Due to the large number of consignments we accept each week, it may take up to four weeks from the date we receive your watches to post them on the site. Holidays and staffing schedules may lengthen this time. We will contact you to confirm that we have received your watches.
We will offer our suggestions on pricing for any consignment watches, but ultimately the decision is up to you. Some people prefer to let us completely handle the pricing of their watches, and others have specific prices in mind that they want us to follow. Proper pricing can be the difference between selling a watch in minutes and sitting on it for months, so we will work with you to find a price that will both meet your needs and result in a sale.
Please be aware that we cannot offer our specific pricing suggestions until your watches are in our hands, but we guarantee that we will only post your watches at prices that satisfy you. Also, this process can take some time. Once we have received your watches it may take 2-3 weeks for us to get to them. We have a perpetual queue that we are constantly working on. Please be patient while we get your watches ready to be listed.
Please note that we do not accept watches with an estimated market value of less than $500. We reserve the right to accept or decline any watch for consignment for any reason. Declined watches will be returned to the owner at owner expense
If you choose to change the price on your consignment item, you will have to reach out to us via email with the new price. The price will then be changed the following business day by 3:30pm MST.
Sometimes a price drop and a little exposure is all it takes to make a watch sell.
We will write a description that represents your watch as accurately as possible. Although you may provide your own descriptions if you wish, we reserve the right to edit the description in any way we deem appropriate.
We have a scheduled payout once a month, on the second Tuesday of every month. On each payout date we will mail you a check and an accounting for any of your watches that were sold during the previous month. (i.e. If your watch sold in June, you will be paid on our July payout date, and so on). Please be aware it is YOUR responsibility to notify us of any address changes so that we mail your check to the correct address. Invalid or wrong addresses will result in FLANEUR having to cancel the check and re-issue a new one resulting in a $40.00 fee charged to you by our bank.
Other payment methods include, "Hold in Account" - you can hold the funds to use towards purchases, OR PayPal, know that you will be charged the PayPal fees if you choose this method, we CANNOT send the payment as "GIFT". We can also make a Wire Transfer to your account, please note that payments made via Wire Transfer will incur a $75 Bank Transfer Fee.
Please note that we determine the sale date of a watch by when it is fully paid and shipped to the customer. For example, a watch may be ordered at the end of June and not paid for and shipped until July. In this case, our consignment payout would be in August for this watch.
If payment has been made and you have not claimed your funds within 180 days, you will forfeit the funds. FLÂNEUR is not responsible for lost or misplaced checks. Re-issued checks are subject to the $40.00 fee charged by our bank.

We offer 60 day layaway orders through the site on select watches. If you would like your watch or watches eligible for layaway, please let us know. Your payout for any watches ordered on layaway would be after the watch is fully paid and shipped to the customer. Your watches will not be sold on layaway unless you choose that option.
We maintain a secure, environmentally controlled storage facility for the protection of your watches. However, we are not responsible for damage or change in condition of your watches while stored in our facility unless due to overt carelessness on our part. Specifically, we are not responsible for rust, cracking of natural materials, or other material degradation.
Security and Insurance
We have a top of the line security system to protect your priceless items. Security cameras covering the entire facility, motion sensors, glass break sensors, 24 hour monitoring, internal metal security gates covering all windows and doors when the facility is locked down, vaulted room with steel security doors, and climate/humidity control in the vault. We also carry specialized insurance to cover our entire inventory for theft, damage, flood, natural disaster, etc.
Failure to Maintain Contact Information
It is your responsibility to ensure that we have correct contact information for you including email, phone, and mailing address. If we attempt to contact you and after 3 attempts have been unsuccessful, we will send a certified letter to the last address we have on file. If we do not hear from you in 30 days for the date of the certified letter, we will sell or otherwise dispose of the watches at our sole discretion. We will hold funds from sale for 6 months from date of the certified letter, after which you forfeit all claim for your watches or funds due.
You may choose to have your watch removed from the site and returned to you at any time. You will be responsible for return shipping and insurance costs. In addition, if the watch/watches have been on the site less than six(6) months, you will be assessed a $25 handling fee per watch.
If your watch is listed on our site, it cannot be listed anywhere else for sale.
